Algerian President to Visit China

At the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of the Democratic People's Republic of Algeria will come to China from October 10 to 12 to attend activities related to the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation -- Ministerial Conference Beijing 2000, and will pay a state visit to China from October 12 to 15, 2000.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi made the announcement at the regular press conference Thursday afternoon.
