Maya Civilization Exhibition in Terra-cotta Warriors Museum

Cultural relics of Maya from north America were on display at the Terra-cotta Warrior Museum in Xi'an ,capital of Shaanxi province in northwest China.

About 180 relics including stone statues, pottery, carved jade and various utensils, were on display. They are expected to be on display for three months before being exhibited in Guangzhou and Beijing.

The exhibition is part of the cultural exchange programs between the Chinese and Mexican governments.

Exhibition of selected cultural relics unearthed from Xi'an, featuring the famous terra-cotta warriors, was launched a week ago in the Mexican City.
