Overseas-Funded Enterprises Dominate Beijing's Export Volume

Overseas enterprises have made up 60.1 percent of the total export volume in Beijing in the past eight months, according to the statistics released Wednesday by the Beijing Foreign Trade and Economic Commission.

They exported 1.78 billion US dollars in the past eight months, up 115.7 percent from the same period last year and accounting for 60.1 percent of the city's total export volume.

Among the overseas enterprises in Beijing, the most eye-striking one is Nokia who exported 500 million US dollars, 370 million US dollars more than the same period last year.
