China to Hold Int'l Textile Machinery Exhibition
The 7th China International Textile Machinery Exhibition will be held in the China International Exhibition Center from October 10 to 14 this year in Beijing.
Also held at the same time and place will be the China International Garment Machinery Exhibition and the Third China International Chemical-fiber Textiles Technology Exposition.
This is the first time for the three exhibitions to be held simultaneously. Almost 1,000 enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions are expected to participate in the exhibitions.
Germany, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Britain and the Republic of Korea will set up pavilions at the exhibitions while China's Pavilion will include large Chinese textile machinery manufacturers.
According to the exhibition organizer, the exhibition will cover more than 50,000 square meters of floor space, and advanced equipment and technology in various sectors of the textile industry will be displayed.
Meanwhile, a series of forums and seminars will be held, including the First China International Seminar on the Development of Textile Machinery, which will invite government officials and experts from home and abroad to give lectures on such topics as the prospects of China's textile industry after its entry into the World Trade Organization.
The organizer said that the exhibitions will help Chinese textile enterprises learn more about advanced technology while promoting exchanges and cooperation between domestic enterprises and their overseas counterparts.
