Shanghai Holds Int'l Fashion Show
CHIC-Fashion China unveiled its international fashion show Tuesday in Shanghai.
The show, sponsored by the China Garments Association, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry of CCPIT, Igedo Company, Dusseldorf from Germany and the China World Trade, aims to further develop and promote China's fashion industry as well as to foster international exchanges and cooperation in the industry.
Covering an area of 8,200 sq. m, the show has attracted some 80 fashion designers from a dozen countries and regions including China, Germany, the United States and France.
Experts pointed out that the show will facilitate the upgrading of the technology and management of China's fashion industry.
Similar shows will be held annually in Shanghai.
