Nine Killed, Two Injured in Truck Crash
Nine people were killed and at least two others were injured early today in a head-on crash in Zhuanghe City in northeast China's Liaoning Province.
The accident occurred when a three-wheeled vehicle carrying workers crashed with an on-coming truck on highway 201.
Eight out of the 18 workers and the driver in the three-wheeled vehicle were killed instantly. A seriously injured worker was rushed to the Zhuanghe People's Hospital, but was dead on arrival.
