China's Red Cross Society Offers Aid to Cambodia, Vietnam

The Red Cross Society of China offered 30,000 US dollars to Cambodia and 20,000 US dollars to Vietnam for disaster relief.

The two sums of money were passed on to Red Cross Societies of Cambodia and Vietnam through the embassies of the two countries in China.

Since early September, the Mekong River has been in flood and brought disaster to Cambodia and Vietnam. The Red Cross Societies of the two countries appealed to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for assistance.
