China Donates Relief Goods to Afghan Refugees in Pakistan

China has donated relief supplies worth 4 million RMB yuan (about 482,000 US dollars) to Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lu Shulin and Pakistan's Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Northern Areas, States & Frontier Regions, Abbas Sarfaraz Khan, signed a certificate for handing over the goods at a ceremony on Tuesday.

The relief goods include medicines, tents, blankets and clothes and have been transported to Peshawar, a Pakistan city bordering Afghanistan. So far, the relief goods have been checked and received by the Chief Commissionerate of Afghan Refugees (CCAR) of Pakistani Government, according to the certificate.
