Premier Zhu Congratulates Chinese Olympians
Premier Zhu Rongji congratulated Chinese Olympians yesterday on their achievements won in Sydney.
Zhu said, "Sydney Olympics attract every Chinese these days. It is so exciting that our total number of medals ranks world second. All Chinese thank Olympians winning honor for the motherland. On behalf of the State Council, I express warm congratulations and sincere thanks to Chinese Olympians!"
Zhu also said, Chinese Olympians' combatant spirit to win honor for the nation will greatly inspire every Chinese, especially scientific and technical personnel, to struggle for international first-level success in all areas.
