Guangdong Court Judge Sacked for Hiring Prostitutes
Xu Shaolong, former associate chief judge with the No. 2 Criminal Tribunal of the Guangdong Provincial Higher People's Court, was sacked by the local people's congress for the continual hiring of prostitutes.
The decision was made by the Standing Committee of the Ninth Guangdong Provincial People's Congress during its 20th meeting over the weekend, said local sources.
This is the first time the local people's congress has sacked a judicial worker for engaging in prostitution.
The Guangdong Provincial Higher People's Court has also decided to fire Xu from the post of public servant and to expel him from the Party.
