Int'l Seminar on Banking Asset Management in Shanghai

An international banking seminar was held Monday on ways to increase cooperation between banks around the world for banking asset management and risk control.

Representatives from the Reserve Bank of the United States, the People's Bank of China, the Bank of China, the Asian Development Bank and other international financial organizations attended the two-day seminar.

They noted that financial globalization has increased risks that will have an impact on regions and the world.

They said countries around the world should improve their cooperation to prevent risks facing the banking industry in the coming century.

The seminar was hosted by the Development and Research Center under the State Council, the Moody's Investors Service and the Dagong Global Credit Rating Company.
