Guangdong, HK Cooperate in Check Settlement
South China's Guangdong will cooperate with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in settlements of HK dollar checks, announced vice governor of Guangdong Wang Qishan.
Wang told a press conference today that Guangdong will enhance its cooperation with HK in the finance sector. The deal has been approved by the People's Bank of China.
"This will be an important financial instrument for the economy," Wang commented.
