China to Host Biomedicine Engineering Conference
An Asia-Pacific biomedicine engineering conference will be held during September 26-28 in Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province.
This will be the first time that China is to going to host such a high-level conference on biomedicine engineering.
A number of well-known experts will express their views on frontier technology and theories related to biomedicine engineering, a subject based on biology, medicine and engineering.
The conference has received 461 theses from 22 countries including the United States, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Britain and Canada. Organizers plan to publish 450 of the theses on laser disc.
An exhibition of appliances made by Siemens and Toshiba will also be held during the event, which is hosted by the prestigious Zhejiang University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
