China to Allow Private Firms into Telecom
China will allow "qualified" private firms to invest in the telecommunications sector, Wu Jichuan, minister of Information Industry, said Monday in Beijing.
New telecom regulations in this regard will be introduced soon, said Wu at a press conference held by the Information Office of the State Council.
