Chinese State Councilor Ismail Amat met with a

ese delegation of the Urasenke Way of Tea led by Muneaki Izumi Friday afternoon.
Amat told the delegation that China and Japan are neighbors separated only by a water. The Chinese government has always attached importance to cultural exchanges with Japan and will continue to push forward such exchanges and cooperation in the 21st century, he said.
He also praised the Urasenke Way of Tea for its long-term efforts in promoting cultural exchanges with China, particularly in promoting tea culture exchanges.
Amat welcomed the delegation to visit China again next year.
