China's Tao Wins Women's 25m Sport Pistol Silver

China's Tao Luna won a women's 25m sport pistol silver at 689.8 points, 0.5 points less than Bulgaria's M. Grozdeva in Sydney at the ongoing 27th Olympiad on Friday.

The bronze went to L. Evglevskaya of Belarus at 686 points.

Tao, China's first gold medallist at the Games, broke the 589 points Olympic record by 590 points during the qualification. (Source: chinadaily.com.cn)
