Aftershock Jolts Northwest China's Qinghai Province
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit Xinghai of northwest China's Qinghai Province at 03:21 (Beijing Time) Thursday, according to the China Seismological Bureau.
The bureau reported that the epicenter is at 35.4 degrees north latitude and 99.7 degrees east longitude.
The bureau said that this is an aftershock of the September 12 quake measuring 6.6 degrees on Richter scale that jolted the area between Xinghai and Maduo of the province.
No report of casualties has yet been reported.
