International Exhibition on Anti-counterfeit Technology 2000 to Open Soon
The International Exhibition on Anti-counterfeit Technology Products 2000 will be held October 18 to 20 at the Chinese People's Revolutionary and Military Museum in Beijing, with an aim to enhance China's anti-counterfeit technology and resist counterfeit products.
Authorized by the Science and Technology Bureau under the Ministry of Public Security (MPB) and MPB Institute of Forensic Science with approval of MPB, the show is organized by the China Anti-counterfeit Technology Association, MPB Anti-counterfeit Product Quality Inspection Center, China Industrial & Commercial Enterprises Counseling Center and China Grand International Exhibition Co., Ltd..
The exhibition will be a pageant showing high-tech anti-counterfeit products in combination with popularization of anti-counterfeit science and technology, and showcase the rapid development of anti-counterfeit technology and industry in China.
Fifteen types of anti-counterfeit technology frontiers nowadays, including network information of anti-counterfeit technology, nucleus track of anti-counterfeit technology, super-energy anti-counterfeit label, ray-polymer anti-counterfeit label, anti-counterfeit print, plannar bar-code, matrix-code, invisible anti-counterfeit technology, will join the grand show.
During the display, pictures showing comparison between true or fake and popularizing knowledge of anti-counterfeit technology will also meet visitors, said Zhang Lihong from the Organizing Committee on Wednesday in Beijing.
She said the exhibition will make contribution in combating illegal criminal activity of counterfeiting, safeguarding national economic benefits and social stability, and promoting the healthy development of socialistic market economy.
The show will efficiently promote the dissemination and application of the achievements in anti-counterfeit technology in China, Zhang noted.
She added that the MPB, the Ministry of Publicity under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Economic and Trade Commission, the State Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, the People's Bank of China all paid wide attention to the show. Among them, the China Bank-note Printing and Currency Manufacturing Parent Company, and the Postage Stamp Printing Bureau of the State Postal Bureau will participate in the exhibition for the first time, Zhang said.
