Xi'an Trade Fair Slated for OctoberThe Xi'an Investment and Trade Fair is scheduled to be held here October 3-8, and local officials are working to make the annual event the largest since 1991.Officials say the number of booths has increased to 700, 47 percent more than the previous fair and more than 4,000 domestic and overseas business people have been invited. Some 226 key investment projects in the fields of machinery, electronics, agriculture, tourism and real estate will be available for business talks. A forum on project management and a seminar on opportunities and challenges after China's entry into the World Trade Organizations will be held during the fair. |
