Senior CPC Official Meets Microsoft President

Jia Qinglin, member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Committee, met with Steve Ballmer, president and chief executive officer of Microsoft.

Briefing the guests on Beijing's advantage in developing software industry, Jia, who is also secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, said that the Beijing municipal government will continue to support Microsoft's development in Beijing.

Ballmer, expressing thanks for Beijing's support to his company, said that Beijing is a good place for Microsoft to develop its business.
