Exhibition of Ancient Mexican Art Held in Macao
An exhibition of ancient Mexican art is being shown at the Macao Museum of Art.
Titled "Memories of the Past -- Mexican Pre-Hispanic Art", the exhibition features the art of Mesoamerican civilizations that flourished in Mexico and Central America 1,000 years ago.
On display are 124 pieces of Mesoamerican painting, pottery and sculpture, which are being shown in Asia for the first time.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Consulate General of Mexico in Hong Kong.
