China to Put New Generation Color TV Sets on Sales

While people are worrying that Chinese color TV industry has gone astray as it launched a price- cut, Chinese color TV enterprises have quietly introduced high technology to develop up-to-date products, a new generation of quality, cheap, distinct and wide-screen color TV sets will be comprehensively put on sales in the market this October.

This kind of health-care TV sets are produced with the advanced American video frequency chips which can help fundamentally solve the problem of flickering and poor clarity of traditional TV sets.

According to Chen Weirong, president of Konka Group which was the first to adopt this kind of chips in China, almost all famous Chinese color TV enterprises are cooperating with the US nDSP Company to apply this high technology in color TV production. Presently, Japan's famous brand, 29-inch, high clarity TV sets are sold at about US$ 4,000 each in the United States while the retail price of this kind of TV sets made in China with nDSP chips is only several thousand yuan each. Such a low selling price will enormously enhance the competitiveness of Chinese color TV sets in domestic and overseas markets.
