First Land Web Planning System Passed Appraisal
China's first land web planning system lately succeeded in passing tests and assessment made in Tanggu, Tianjin, by experts from the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Land and Resources.
For a medium-sized city with a population of 500,000 to 10 million, when the web system should be introduced, an annual amount of 5 to 10 million yuan of costs will be saved on land planning and updating. At the appraisal meeting, heads from Tanggu Land Administration demonstrated a series of operations for documents search, urban planning, investment application and project follow-up, backed by advanced technologies such as multimedia.
