Chinese Team Beat Kazakstan in Asian Young Women's Volleyball Tournament

The Chinese team beat the Kazakstani team 3:0 in the tenth Asian Young Women's Volleyball Tournament in Philippines on September 13.

Cai Bin, coach of the Chinese team, said on the phone that "although the Chinese team has been organized only one month before all players will do their best to give the finest performance so as to get themselves well prepared for next year's World Young Women's Volleyball Tournament".

In other three matches on that day, the Japanese team beat DPRK 3:0; ROK, China Taipei 3:1; Thailand, Philippines 3:0.

The Asian Volleyball Federation hosts the tournament. Following a game rule, all players in every women's team must be at an age under 18.

Two contesting groups are formed with matches launched by round robin. After group matches, one day's rest will be arranged, to be followed by two day's finals.

The Chinese, China Taipei, ROP and Kazakstani teams are in one group while the DPRK, Japanese, Thailand, and Philippines teams are in another. In the first match of the tournament on September 12, the Chinese team beat China Taipei 3:2.
