China Submit Final Line-up for Men's Team Event

Men's team gold contenders China have submitted their final line-up for the competition starting Saturday afternoon.

Five-time world champion Li Xiaopeng will be leading a six-man contingent which includes Xin Aowei, Huang Xu, Yang Wei, Xiao Junfeng and last-minute substitute Zheng Lihui.

Only Yang Wei and Zheng Lihui will be performing on all six apparatus, while Li Xiaopeng will skip the pommel horse, Xin Aowei will not compete in the rings, the vault and floor competition will be without Huang Xu and the high bars and parallel bars without Xiao Junfeng.

China made two major changes after coming to Australia. All-arounder Lu Yufu had been called on to replace rings world champion Dong Zhen, but only saw his Olympic dreams shattered after injuring his neck in the vault training.

Changes would not be allowed to be made after the submittal of the final line-up.
