Chinese Acrobats Praised for Excellent Performance in Uganda

Uganda's First Lady Janet Museveni Thursday evening praised the debut of a Chinese acrobatic troupe at the International Conference Center in the capital Kampala as "very enjoyable and successful".

Speaking to audience and artists at the end of the show presented by Tianjin Acrobatic Troupe, Janet said it is a great pleasure for her to share with artists the rich oriental culture of China.

She expressed hope that more cultural exchanges like this will add to the friendship between the two countries.

The troupe arrived Kampala Tuesday at the invitation of the Uganda Women's Efforts to Save Orphan Organization. The profit of the shows will go to orphans in Uganda.
