Fourteenth High-tech Week Opens in Tianjin
The 14th High-tech Week opened in the coast city Tianjin Wednesday.
Participants of the high-tech symposiums will discuss the latest development of high-tech products, bio-medical research and issues concerning intellectual property rights.
Tianjin municipal authorities launched the annual event in 1987 to enhance the residents' awareness of science and technology.Apart from the symposiums, local science and technology associations will also launch various activities to publicize scientific knowledge among residents.
The hi-tech week will close on September 19.
