Fast Growth for Liaoning's Small Enterprises
Small and medium-sized enterprises in northeast China's Liaoning Province experienced a surge in growth in the first half of this year, with their industrial output value hitting 99.3 100 billion yuan, up 18 percent, according to official statistics.
State-owned and private enterprises each has an annual sales volume of over five million yuan, official sources said.
Liaoning, a key province for State-owned enterprises (SOEs) reform, also attaches great importance to the development of small firms, with more than eight million employees working in 400,000 small enterprises, 40 percent of the provincial total employees.
The provincial government also allocated 60 million yuan as a guarantee fund to facilitate the fund raising for small and medium-sized firms.
