National Art Festival to Feature Outstanding Performances
Vice Minister of Culture Pan Zhenzhou says the upcoming Sixth China Art Festival will feature the most outstanding performances in recent years.
The event's organizing committee says five host cities in eastern China's Jiangsu Province are making final preparations for the festival.
These cities are Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Yangzhou.
The committee also says the festival agenda will include 105 artists or groups from China's mainland and Hong Kong.
The festival will start with a famous folk dance from Jiangsu, What A Beautiful Jasmine.
Known as the top national cultural gala, the 15-day Sixth China Art Festival will start on September 28.
