China's Xu Yuhua Wins Chess World Cup Champion
China's chess player Xu Yuhua defeated Natalia Zhukova of
Ukraine
to win the women's champion of the Chess World Cup Tournament held in Shenyang on Wednesday.
Xu beat her rival with one win and one draw in the two-game final. Zhukova took the runner-up of the women's competition.
In the men's competition, Viswanathan Anand of
India
won the title with one victory and one draw after eliminating Bareev Ilguizovitch of
Russia
. The Russian finished second.
