Senior Hong Kong Delegation to Visit Sydney
A high-level delegation led by Hong Kong's Chief Secretary for Administration Anson Chan will leave for Sydney on Wednesday to promote Hong Kong, China during the 2000 Olympic Games.
Chan said the Sydney Games would provide Hong Kong's Olympic Committee members and the Asian Games bid team with a first-hand look at how Hong Kong, China could improve or enhance its bid and an opportunity to promote the Hong Kong's bid for the 2006 Asian Games.
Chan said she would also take the opportunity during her visit to strengthen the links between Hong Kong, China and
Australia
.
Chan will return to Hong Kong on September 18.
