Chinese State Councilor Meets Japanese Guests

Chinese State Councilor Ismail Amat met Tuesday with a delegation from a Japanese Buddhist Organization of Rissho Kosei-Kai headed by its head Niwano Nichiko.

Ismail expressed his appreciation for the efforts Niwano Nichiko has made to promote the contacts between the peoples of the two countries.

He also exchanged views with the delegation on issues of common concern.

The Japanese guests are visiting China at the invitation of State Administration of Religious Affairs, and its director Ye Xiaowen was present at the meeting.
