China Discovers Japanese 731 Troop's Germ Incubator

China recently discovered a germ incubator used by the Japanese 731 troop in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

Archeologists said this was another evidence that Japanese troops resorted to germ warfare during their occupancy in northeast China from 1931.

Officials said the incubator was among the collection of objects found by local residents that had been left by the Japanese 731 troop.

Guan Shicheng, the 65-year-old collector, bought the case for ten yuan from a merchant 34 years ago. He used the case to carry valuables, letters, photos and residential cards.

Guan's son-in-law turned it in to the local government when discovering some strange letters on the box. Local archeologists confirmed after a series of studies that this was a germ incubator belonging to the Japanese troop.
