Kim Dae-jung to visit Japan Sept. 22-24
ROK President Kim Dae-jung will make an official visit to Japan Sept. 22-24, upon the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, presidential spokesman Park Joon-young said.
Presiddent Kim and Prime Minister Mori will hold summit talks at the Japanese hot springs resort of Atami Sept. 23.
At the talks, the two chiefs of executives are expected to discuss ways to step up cooperation and consultation for the peace and stability of the Koreas in the wake of the June 15 summit. President Kim is also planning to attend a dinner hosted by leaders of the two countries' business sectors in Tokyo and will speak before a group of cultural dignitaries.
