Vice Premier Joins Mid-Autumn Festival Reception
Chinese Vice Premier Wu Bangguo Monday encouraged counselors of the State Council to continue to provide consultations for government policies and actively participate in state affairs.
Speaking at a reception here marking the Mid-autumn Festival (15th day of the 8th Chinese lunar month), which falls on September 12, Wu said that the counselors have been diligent and have done a good job in providing policy consultations for the government.
The reception was jointly held by the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the General Office of the State Council, in honor of counselors of the State Council, members of the Party document and history research institutes and people from other relevant units.
At the reception, the Vice Premier also spoke highly of the work done by the members of the Party document and history research institutes.
He expressed the confidence of achieving the complete reunification of the motherland.
