China to Issue More Bonds
China is to issue 80 billion yuan worth of treasury bonds on September 15, the Ministry of Finance announced Monday.
The T-bonds include 48 billion yuan worth of 3-year bonds and 32 billion yuan worth of 5-year bonds. The annual interest rate of the 3-year bonds is 2.89 percent, while that for the 5-year bonds is 3.14 percent.
The bonds will be sold to individual investors at commercial banks around the country from September 15 to December 15.
