Qingdao Opens New Air Line to Bangkok

Qingdao, a major port in east China's Shandong Province, will open an airline route to the Thai capital of Bangkok on September 30.

The new route will be used by tourism charter planes, according to local government officials.

The weekly flight will fly passengers from the city to Bangkok in five hours.

Qingdao has also opened international air links with Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Seoul, Pusan and Singapore.
