Senior Chinese Leader Met Top Ten Armed Police

Senior leader Wei Jianxing Monday met the country's ten Guards of Loyalty -- soldiers chosen from the country's armed police force for their outstanding performance.

During the meeting at the Great Hall of the People, Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, urged the soldiers to make new contributions to maintaining national security and social stability.

He also called on the armed police force to strengthen ideological and political work and carry forward its fine tradition and style of work to ensure all tasks are accomplished successfully.

This is the third year China has selected the Top Ten police officers.
