China's Sports Science and Technology Delegation Honored

Tony Park, chairman of Olympic Science Convention Committee (OSCC), honored Zhang Faqiang, vice-director of China's National Sports Administration and vice-chairman of China Olympic Committee, to acknowledge China's contribution to the OSCC September 8.

This marked the first time the OSC has awarded a China delegation. The Olympic Science Convention opened in Brisbane, Australia September 8. Thousands of sports scientists from all over the world attended the convention.

To support Beijing's bid for 2008 Olympics, Chinese Sports Science and Technology delegation actively promoted Beijing's bid at the conference.
