Chinese Disabled Artists Win Great Success in US

The China Disabled People's Arts Troupe won great success in the first performance of its 21-day US tour on Friday at the Morrison Center in Boise, the capital of Idaho.

Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne called it a "magic moment" that touched Americans' heart with its "beauty, elegance and dignity."

He said China had helped the disabled people make their dream become a reality through their great effort.

Deng Pufang, Chairman of China Disabled Persons' Federation, said that Americans would know more about China, its culture and people through this performance.

Both Kempthorne and Deng hoped this great show would enhance understanding and friendship between the Chinese and Americans.
