Macao SAR Signs Agreements with Ministry of Health
China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) and Ministry of Health signed five agreements Saturday to strengthen medical cooperation.
The agreements cover the training of medical workers for Macao, medical exchanges and the invitation of inland specialists to Macao.
The agreements were signed by those in charge of government medical departments and medical institutions both in the country's inland areas and Macao.
Minister of Health Zhang Wenkang and Fernando Chui Sai On, secretary for social and cultural affairs of the Macao SAR government, authorized the agreements.
Fernando Chui said that Macao has received medical assistance from the inland areas over the past years and more medical specialists will be invited to work in Macao.
