China Awards 60 Senior Professors
As the 16th Teachers' Day, which falls on September 10, draws near, China today granted awards to 60 senior professors with glorious academic achievements.
The awarding drive was sponsored by the China Senior Professors' Association. Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing delivered his congratulations to the 60 award-winners.
Among those people, Wang Xiji, Yu Guocong, Qu Mianyu, Wu Cangping, Zhou Guangren, Zhang Guangdou, Chen Huimin, Ji Xianlin, Xia Shuzhang and Weng Shilie received great contribution awards.
The award-winners were selected from the 27,000 members of the association.
