New Center Set up for E-Commerce Solutions in HKHKNet Thursday announced the opening of its new digital business data center offering complete one-stop e-commerce solutions for facility management needs of all types enterprises.Addressing the opening ceremony of the center, York Mok, deputy managing director of HKNet Co. Ltd., one of the first licensed Internet service providers in Hong Kong, said that his company aims to drive online business of its customers to a new height by developing the latest technologies in the data center. The new center features high security and reliability, fastest global connectivity, and customized value-added services backed by strong support of its professional staff, Mok added. "It is well positioned to benefit from NTT Communications' recent acquisition of Verio, one of the world's largest web-hosting companies and a leading provider of comprehensive e-business solutions," Mok said. "As one of the large-scaled data centers in Hong Kong, the center is our major investment so far in Internet infrastructure," he said. HKNet, a joint venture between the Hong Kong listed CCT Telecom Group and NTT Communications Corporation of Japan, focuses on broadband service, data center, web-solutions and system integration, telecom services and domain name registration.
