Siemens Allies with Six Top Chinese Websites
Siemens will open a mobile phone websiteon September 12 to further link with six mainstream Chinese websites, a company official announced Thursday in Beijing.
The six websites -- Yahoo.com.cn, sina.com, netease.com, china.com, 8848.com, Stockstar.com -- can be accessed through the Siemens website at http://www.siemensmobile.com.cn via WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) handset, the official said.
The company signed an agreement in July to ally with the six websites making it possible for customers to view these sites via Siemens mobile phones.
The company's website includes six sections -- latest products, market developments, technology and products, news center, on-line service and Siemens in clients' eyes.
