'Green-Promise Action' Builds its Base at Badaling
The "Badaling Base of Chinese Juvenile Green-Promise Action" will be built in the Badaling Development Zone of Yanqing County, Beijing, as a demonstration base for Chinese youngsters to participate in the western region development, carrying out "Green-Promise Action", greening the Great Wall and beautifying Beijing as well.
A total of 400 million yuan will be invested in building a modern central and comprehensive control center, high-tech greenhouse workshop and other facilities and widely introducing outstanding talents and advanced high-tech achievements, so as to form a high-tech, high-starting point and high-efficiency modern agriculture-forestry system that integrates scientific research, production, teaching, promotion, science popularization and ecological tourism.
