Computer Giant Branches Into On-line Trade
Chinese computer software and hardware giant Founder Group has shifted into the Internet sector
by launching its on-line service subsidiary recently, according to today's China Daily.
With the establishment of EC-Founder Co. Ltd and a business reorganization, Founder will work with the Internet and e-commerce,newspapers, publishing, radio and TV broadcasting and system integration.
EC-Founder is directly under Founder Holding Co Ltd, a Hong Kong-listed operation of Founder. EC-Founder will go public by acquiring another Hong Kong-listed company Management Information Technology Co Ltd.
Ricky Lee, a Hong Kong native and former president of Founder Electronics, was named the EC-Founder President, according to the report.
