CCB: Largest Bankcard Operator in China
Related statistics showed that by mid August, China Construction Bank (CCB) had issued 64 million bankcards, becoming the largest bankcard operator in China.
It was reported that in the 1st half of the year, CCB issued 12.77 million additional bankcards. At present, bankcards issued by CCB includ: Dragon Credit Cards, Saving Cards, 12 Mascot Saving Cards, Campus Cards, etc. Last year, the transaction volume of card business of CCB totaled RMB 285.6 billion.
CCB issued the 1st Dragon Credit Card 10 years ago. Since then, it has been making great effort on improving the service of credit card business backed by its technological advantage. Up to now, CCB has established 250,000 money-drawing nodes, 6393 ATMs, 420,000 POSs, and 53756 specially engaged commercial businesses. At present, it has more than 20 self-served branches in large cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen providing 24-hour service on money-drawing, query, account transfer, and account checking.
