In the Plate Championship final, Japan trounced China 42-0, after leading 14-0 at half time. Thailand won the Bowl Championship defeating Kandy Barbarians 35-26 in the final encounter. The tournament was organized by the Kandy Sports Club and sponsored by Singer Sri Lanka, Srilankan Airlines and co-sponsored by Connaissance de Ceylon. |
