Western China Trade Fair Opens
A five-day trade fair, to be attended by representatives from provinces in the western part of China, opened at Tianshui in northwest China's Gansu Province.
This was the largest regional trade fair in China. More than 15,000 businessmen attended the opening session Commodities with a total value of 8 billion yuan (about 963 million U.S. dollars) will be traded during the fair. The property rights of 30 projects will change hands during the fair as well.
