Muslim Food Festival Held in NW China

The 2000 China Muslim Food Exhibition and the Second China Famous Snacks Recognition were held Friday in Yinchuan, capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

Nearly 1,000 kinds of Muslim food and over 180 kinds of snacks from around the country were displayed and tasted during the exhibition, which was organized by the regional Internal Trade Department, the Cuisine Association, the Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Yinchuan City Government.

Over 2,000 people from 27 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions participated in the event.
